ramblings in the am.

man i miss just sitting down like this & rediscovering good music. i get so busy in my life that i overlook all of the little things that make it so worthwhile. like going over the library of music that i have & reliving all of it. i can’t get over how much music moves us, stitches us up, connects us together. it’s incredible.

wake up. drive. make copies. make lesson plans. classroom management. teach. drive. classes. more lesson plans. roommates. gas money. grocery money. subway. listen. pour out. support. worry. drive. sleep.

sometimes all i need is any kind of beat to get me through all of this, all of the stuff that i think i can’t do—& it comes through for me everytime.
